An object of a preposition is a noun or pronoun that comes after a preposition , such as <<>

An object of the preposition can case confusion in structure questions on the TOEFL test because

it can be mistaken for the subject of the sentence

In this example you should look 1st for the subject and the verb
You should notice the verb found and should aldo notice that there is no subject >>>
Do not think that friend is the subject
Friend in English is the object of the preposition with
And 1 noun cannot be both a subject and an object at the same time .
Because a subject is needed in this sentence

skill 1 : Be sure the sentence has a subject and a verb

you know that a sentnce in English oshould have a subject abd a verb

the most common types of problems that you will encounter in structure question on the TOEFL test have to do with subject and verbs ; perhaps the sentence is missing either the subject or the verb or both , or perhapes the sentnece has an extra subject or verb

In this example you should notice immediately that there is a verb ( was ) , but there is no subject . Answer (C) is the best answer because it contains the singular subject (Traffic ) that , ( agrees with the sigular verb ( was ) . Answer ( A ) ,( yesterday) , and answer ( B) , in the , are not subjects , so they are not correct . Although answer ( D) , (car ) could be a subject , it is not correct because cars is plural and it does not agree with the singular verb ( was ) >>> aha

In this example you should notice immediately that the sentnce has a subject (engineers ) and that there is no verb . Because answer ( b) , ( are needed ) is a verb , it is the best answer . Answer ( a) (c) and ( d ) are not verbs , so they are not correct

This sentence has a subject ( boy ) and has part of a verb going , to be correct , some form of the verb be is needed to make the sentnece complete . Answers ( A) and ( B ) are incorrect because the sentence already has a subject boy and does not need the extra subject he Answer ( C) is incorrect because ( relaxing ) is an extra verb part that is unnecessary because of going .Answer D ) is the best answer , will be together with going is a complete verb

ينطبق امتحان التوفل ع اربع اقسام لكل قسم وقت محدد لانهائة و الاقسام هي !!!!

1- الاستماع listening

2- القواعدstructure

3 -القراءة reading

4- الكتابة writing

القواعد

هذا القسم يقوم الممتحن بقرائة الأسئلة من على الورقة و تنطوي الاسئلة على قواعد اللغة واسئلة عنها من مثل اكمال الفراغ واختيار الكلمة البديلة المصححة نحويا لجملة او اختيار الكلمة الخاطئة نحويا واعتقد المدة المعطاة لاكمال هذا القسم 35 دقيقة

القراءة

وهو اطول قسم وبالنسبة لي اصعبها من ناحية التوقيت حيث ان الوقت المحدد لهذا القسم 50 دقيقة وفي هذيه الفتره الزمنية يتوجب عليك قرائة 5 قطع تتكون من 30 سطرا تقريبا ويلي كل قطعه اسأله متنوعه عنها ... حيث ان مجموع الأسئلة عن القطع الخمس هو 55 ... ومما سبق يمكنك تصور صعوبة الاجابة عن 55 سؤال في غضون 50 دقيقة بعد قرائة 5 قطع طويلة جزئيا .... وايضا قد تواجهك صعوبة فهم مواضيع القطع كليا حيث ان معظم الاحيان تكون القطع عن مواضيع علمية ذات مصطلحات صعبة

أنواع امتحان الـ TOEFL : وهنالك نوعان من امتحان TOFELComputer-Based ويتم على الكمبيوتر .... واعتقد انه اسهل ...لتنوع اشكال الأسئلة ... ولكن سوف تكون مقيدا في الرجوع الى الأسئلة المحلولة ومراجعتها حيث ان الكمبيوتر لن يسمح لكPaper-Based Testingويتم بالطريقة التقليدية بالورقة والقلم... واعتقد انه هذه الطريقة اصعب ولكن تعطي نتائج اكثر مقياسا لقدرات الشخص

طريقة الإجابة : سوف يتم تزويدك بصفحة اجوبة مليئة بدوائر كالتالي ويجب عليك اختيار الحرف الذي يدل على الاجابة الصحيحة المزودة في كتيب الاختبار Paper-Based Testingوملئه بقلم الرصاص طريقة حساب النقاط والعلامات
